Vehicle Prepper / Paint Prepper - Clear Automotive is a specialist recruitment consultancy in the Accident Repair, Bodyshop and Automotive sector, partnering with organisations across the UK, to fulfil their staffing requirements, whilst representing Automotive professionals to secure permanent careers.

We currently have numerous Vehicle prepper positions available for a vehicle refurbishment company, on a permanent basis, on either a day or an afternoon shift, to carry out all exterior prepper activities on vehicles ready for the paint department

You will need to have vehicle prepper / paint prep experience to be successful in securing this position, and we can offer an immediate start.

Job Details: Vehicle Prepper / Masker / Polisher

• Experience of working in the vehicle repair industry - Prepping vehicles to be painted
• Prep vehicles to a very high standard ensuring to ensure paint is applied properly.
• The role will involve, sanding down panels using different grades of paper
• Apply primer
• Masking vehicles ready to be painted
• Masking vehicles up ready for paint, prime and filling damaged panels on vehicles.
• You will be qualified with a NVQ qualification or have a good level of relevant experience
• You must have experience as a vehicle prepper to be successful in this role

Job Experience: The Successful Vehicle Prepper will have:

• Experience of working in a vehicle prepper role
• Ideally prepping within an accident repair centre or vehicle refurbishment business
• Relevant Vehicle prepper qualifications desirable but not essential
• A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
• Able to work in a fast paced, and targeted environment.
• Skilled Vehicle prepper background is essential.
